When Manchester United sets foot on the pitch Monday, they'll do so knowing they are now 8th in the Premier League table. They fell two spots and are now OUT of the European places, thanks to both Newcastle United and Chelsea winning over the weekend. Quite frankly, the Red Devils deserve to be even lower in the table when you consider Understat has them 15th in xPts, right behind the side they'll tangle with in this fixture, Crystal Palace. 

Since Oliver Glasner took over, Palace has gotten the “new manager bounce” and has been vastly improved. The Eagles have four wins, three draws and three losses in the 10 matches since Glasner took over and bring a four-match unbeaten run into Monday. It's pretty remarkable to see them as favorites on the 3-way line here against a club with the pedigree of Man U, but the bottom line is Palace has been the better side of late and will be looking to make it three consecutive wins at Selhurst Park.

I expect Palace will be able to find the back of the net multiple times here. There's an injury crisis going on right now in the back four for Erik Ten Hag and that has resulted in six consecutive away matches with at least 1.8 xGA (expected goals allowed). They've conceded in all six and that streak is all but guaranteed to continue. Man U has been a bit fortunate to draw in four of their last six Premier League matches, the only win in that stretch coming against bottom of the table Sheffield United.

Bottom line: getting Crystal Palace at a plus price to pick up all three points is a great value.
