THE PLAY: New Orleans Saints -1.5 (-108)

New York hits the road off their first win of the season; a home upset over the Chargers. The Giants started rookie QB Jaxson Dart, and that gave them a spark on their opening drive TD. But after that, the Giants offense was abysmal, and Dart looked like a rookie. The Giants also got that win gift wrapped to them with 2 Chargers turnovers leading directly to points and a bail out flag on a long 3rd down play leading to more points. Other than capitalizing on those gifts, the Giants offense did absolutely nothing. Not only that, but they lost their best player (Malik Nabers) to a season-ending injury, and Dart himself was dealing with a hamstring issue that prevented him from scrambling as the game went on. New Orleans returns home winless, and this looks to be their best shot at getting a win. The Saints have been at least competitive in their losses, and with their fast-paced offense, they could put a lot of pressure on Dart making his first road start. The Giants defensive line can be a problem, but they faced a Chargers offensive line missing 3 starters, including their stud LT Joe Alt. Everything went New York’s way last Sunday, but now on the road they’ll likely regress giving New Orleans a very good chance to get their first win of the season.
