THE PLAY: 1H Colorado State +4.0 (-110)
This is a free play on COLST 1H.
Keep in mind that the Buffaloes have trailed at the half in both games so far this season, and they were blown out in the first half at home against rivals Colorado State last season. They trailed by 11 midway through the 4th quarter of that game and needed a late rally and a TD + 2P convert to win by 8 in OT. This looks like a case of wrong team favored.
THE PLAY: Anytime TD Scorer: Mike Evans - Mike Evans - Anytime Scorer +110
This is a free play on Mike Evans anytime TD.
We have a high total in an indoor game between two teams with excellent offenses. I had previously given out a play on Baker Mayfield to go over his passing yards. I also see value in the Mike Evans TD prop. Evans is a TD machine, and this is a great matchip for him. He had 8 catches for 147 yards and a TD in Detroit in the playoff game last year. He had 13 TD receptions in the regular season last year. I'll take the plus money.
THE PLAY: Total Under 48.0 (-110)
This is a free play on Under.
If you follow the theory that Week 2 is overreaction week, then you might be looking at the Bengals getting a bunch of points on the road at KC, in a matchup that they have won three of the last four outright. I discuss the pros and cons of this theory, and in the end I caution against betting Cincinnati and suggest playing the total instead. You really need to watch the video…
THE PLAY: Colorado State +220
This is a free play on COLST +220 ML.
The Buffaloes offensive line can't protect their QB, and their defense can't stop the run. They really have no business being favored here in a rematch of last year's rivalry game that they won in double overtime after rallying from down 11 halfway through the 4th quarter. I'll take the home dog to get the outright win …. GO RAMS!
THE PLAY: Baker Mayfield Passing Yards O/U Over 262.5 (-115)
This is a free play on Baker Mayfield over 262.5 passing yards.
I bet the Browns wish they didn't get rid of Baker Mayfield. The former Heisman winner is coming off a big Week 1 performance throwing for 289 yards and 4 TDs. He threw for 349 yards and 3 TDs in the NFC Divisional Playoff game against the Lions last year. Detroit is gonna get their points here against the Bucs, and Baker is gonna need to air it out to try to keep up.
GL,
Jesse Schule
THE PLAY: Houston Texans -6.5 (-110)
This is a free play on HOU.
As much as I wanted to fade the Bears in Week 1, I couldn't get to the window with the Titans. It turned out to be a good thing, as Tennessee found a way to lose a game that appeared to be theirs for the taking. What did we learn about the Bears though? THEY ARE… WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!
THE PLAY: Colorado State +7.0 (-110)
This is a free play on the Rams.
Albert Einstein once said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
If you've been betting your hard earned money on the Colorado Buffaloes, we're gonna have to have a conversation about that.
Colorado will play Colorado State this week and,, last year these teams played a double overtime thriller in Boulder.
Should we expect a similar result this Saturday? Now, let's get into this game.
The Colorado Buffaloes will be a seven point road favorite earlier in the week, you could have got 7.5. You could have even got 8.5. People continue to bet on this Colorado team. Lord knows why?
They're, they're a bit of a one trick pony.
They got a great quarterback, a great receiver and,, Travis Hunter 22 way player. I'm not sold,, Dion appears to be over his skis as far as coaching a program in a power conference and,, that was apparent in their loss to Nebraska.
Now, I'm not gonna overreact to that game against Nebraska. I had a 5% play on Nebraska last Saturday, so I expected everything that happened to happen. We'll, we'll lean more on their week one game against North Dakota State.
They only won that game by five points. North Dakota State is an F CS team and I know some people will say, but they're the monsters of the FCS. Well, that's not exactly true. They were the monsters of the F CS a few years ago last year it was the South Dakota State team, the jack rabbits that were the monsters and they,, they absolutely crushed North Dakota State, and you saw South Dakota State get crushed by a fairly average looking Oklahoma State team. So, a five point win at home against an S CS team that is a bit of a warning sign.
We've, we heard that the Buffaloes had improved. Their offensive line certainly doesn't look like there's been any significant improvements there. We heard that they improved. Their defense doesn't appear that there's any significant improvements there.
You look how this game played out last last year.
Colorado State outgained them 499 total yards to 418.
The Rams turned the ball over four times despite that, the Rams led 28 to 17 halfway through the fourth quarter, Colorado had to score 11 points late just to force overtime. They scored a touchdown and a two point conversion with 37 36 seconds left on the clock to force overtime. They end up winning by eight in double O T with a touchdown and a two point conversion. I don't expect them to win by eight. Here, you look at this,, Colorado State, this is a team that beat Boise State at home last year. This is a team with weapons.
This is a team that can put points on the board and if you don't have a good defense.
hey're gonna, they're gonna light you up and we saw that last year with Fowler Nicolosi throwing for 367 yards on 3447 pounds with three touchdowns. Sheduer had 3300 and 48 yards passing on 38 of 47 with four touchdowns.
I expect to see a very similar result here. Another shootout, another last touchdown wins.
But,, you give me the home dog, you give me seven points.
You gotta be out of your mind to be betting on Colorado at this point in the season.
We're taking the Colorado State Rams plus seven points home dog.

Consultant Bio
Who is Jesse Schule?
He's no soothsayer, and he doesn't have a crystal ball, but Jesse Schule can indeed predict the future. As a professional handicapper, it is part of his job description. His clients have accused him of secretly possessing Marty McFly's Sports Almanac, but he tells us the secret to his success is partly thanks to his fascination with history. The idea that you can predict the future by studying the past is nothing new. Historians have been doing it for years.
Jesse made headlines in 2019 when he not only predicted that the Toronto Raptors would beat the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals but also cashed in prop bets on the Finals MVP and the number of games it would take for Toronto to win the series. Keep in mind that the Warriors were an overwhelming favorite, and the Washington Post actually wrote an article titled: NBA Finals Experts picks: Basically, no one thinks the Raptors can beat the Warriors.
Some might call it luck, especially given the injuries to Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. As luck would have it, though, just two years earlier, Jesse had won in a similar fashion by exploiting the player prop markets in the 2017 NBA Finals. Jesse told his clients before the series started that he thought there was a good chance the series would be over in 4-5 games, and that presented excellent value in shorting the player performance totals for key players, especially on the losing team. He ended up making six futures bets on the series, winning all six of those bets.
His success is by no means limited to the NBA, and his accolades include several #1 finishes over the years. From 06/01/2021 to 06/01/2024 Jesse was the overall money leader at Sportsmemo.com, posting an impressive record of (1783-1356-64) +198.62 units. He finished 2022 as the #1 NFL handicapper at Sportsmemo; he was also #1 with All Football and All Soccer for the calendar year.
