THE PLAY: Montreal Canadiens 110
The first two games of the season series between these Atlantic Division rivals ended in a 1-1 split, with both played in Montreal. This third matchup takes place in Ottawa, where the Senators would typically hold an edge as the home team, and are favored accordingly. That said, home-ice advantage has been negligible for either side throughout the 2025-26 campaign so far.
Coming off back-to-back defeats, the Canadiens are hungry for a victory to regain momentum. Despite those recent setbacks, Montreal maintains a substantial 10-point lead over Ottawa in the Atlantic Division standings. The Habs did not play poorly in their last game.
