THE PLAY: Anthony Black (ORL) Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds vs Miami
Orlando is limping into the NBA Cup quarterfinals after Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs were both injured in Sunday's loss to the Knicks. Wagner will be out of the lineup for the first time this season, while Suggs is questionable with a leg injury. That's the bat signal for Anthony Black, who has arguably been the league's best sixth-man off the bench this season. Black scored 14 points and was Orlando's leading rebounder with 11 boards off the bench against the Knicks on Sunday. His rebounding numbers have seen a big spike in recent games, averaging 8.8 rebounds per game over his last four contests after averaging 2.9 rebounds per game in November. Miami is bottom-10 in rebounding rate this season and the Heat have allowed the third-most rebounds per game to opposing guards. Both teams are top-12 in pace with the Heat playing at the fastest tempo in the league. That should create more opportunities for Black to contribute to the box score.
