THE PLAY: Texas -122
THE REMATCH! One of the biggest games of the year as Ohio State heads to Austin Saturday night in what will no doubt be an ELECTRIC atmosphere. There’s not much to be taken away from these teams first two games, both blowouts against lower level opponents. But the revenge factor will certainly be at play as the Longhorns set out to, not only beat OSU, but make a statement that they’re the best team in the nation. Ohio State by all regards is a great team once again. They reload, and this year brought in 50 new players to the program. Stopping Jeramiah Smith will have to be a top priority for UT. As for Texas, we really saw Arch Manning progress on the back half of last season. In his last 6 games he had 14 TD’s and a turnover worthy play rate of just 1.2%. He was throwing the ball downfield and don’t forget about his ability to use his legs either. This will be a close one, but in the end the Longhorns prevail. Take Texas ML.

THE PLAY: Minnesota Vikings -118
Kevin O’Connell didn’t waste any time naming Kyler Murray the starting quarterback, a good move if you know who your guy is so the team can develop chemistry without uncertainty. Murray has huge playmaking starters on offense, with Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison leading the way. The defense was great a season ago, finishing 3rd in opponent yards per play and 7th in points per game allowed. Defensive coordinator Brian Flores loves to blitz, and he’s done a tremendous job of finding ways to get to the opposing quarterback. The Packers are a team that’s due for regression, and they’ll be without running back Josh Jacobs do to his off the field troubles. Micah Parsons is also out for the first month of the season with a knee injury. Minnesota comes away a winner in this NFC North rivalry. Take the Vikings ML.
