CBB Props Today Best Bet #1: Amari Allen (ALA) Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)

Freshman Amari Allen has been a force for Alabama so far this year both on the scoreboard and on the glass as we’ll look for him to go over 20.5 points + rebounds in tonight’s game against Ole Miss.

The Rebels rank 231st out of 365 D-I teams in rebounding rate which includes coming in at 15th out of 16 teams in allowing offensive rebounds as well.

Allen has averaged 19.2 points + rebounds across his last five games but one of those includes a five points, three rebound performance at Florida in which he fouled out in 21 minutes.

On the season Allen averages 28.5 minutes per game and tends to perform better when Alabama is on the road averaging 21.3 points + rebounds compared to just 17.8 points + rebounds when the Crimson Tide are at home.

The Rebels have lost five straight games and Alabama should have revenge on their mind after losing to Ole Miss last season 74-64 in Tuscaloosa.

Obviously Allen wasn’t apart of that game, but he’ll be in the starting lineup tonight so let’s take him to go over 20.5 points + rebounds against a depleted Rebels team.

CBB Props Today Best Bet #2: Andy Mara (MICH) Over 10.5 Points (-120)

The Wildcats will have their hands full inside tonight trying to contain 7’3 Andy Mara with the Wolverines junior coming off a career high 24 points in a 82-61 win over Ohio State on Sunday.

We’ll take him to ride that momentum tonight and go over 10.5 points in a game that should favor scoring from Mara.

Although Michigan runs fast, Northwestern doesn’t sitting 12th of 18 teams in adjusted tempo which will give Mara time to get set up down low for post up opportunities against a Northwestern team that doesn’t have a starter over 6’9.

The Michigan center has averaged 13.6 points per game across his last eight games and is shooting it at a staggering 68% during that stretch as well.

The only thing we may have to worry about is the blowout factor here but Dusty May likes to keep his rotation in tact, blowout or not well into the second half.

Mara averages 13.6 points per game in road games this season compared to 10.4 points per game at home so let’s take him to go over 10.5 points tonight at Northwestern.
