The Phillies look to take two of three games in their series against the Blue Jays in Toronto tonight with Max Scherzer making his first start since the end of April.

We’ll take outfielder Brandon Marsh to hit his home run props tonight belting three of his eight home runs in June while batting .419 this month as well.

In fact, Marsh is slugging .683 across the last 15 days with Scherzer allowing seven home runs across just 18.2 innings in total this season.

All seven home runs allowed have come in home starts while compiling a 12.79 ERA at the Rogers Centre as well. Five of his seven home runs have been allowed to left handed hitters while allowing them to bat .314 and notching a .647 slugging percentage.

The veteran has had a knack for giving up home runs in the later stages of his career giving up 19 in just 85 innings pitched last season with 12 of those coming at home.

Sure, Marsh has been a better hitter at home this season, but half of his home runs hit have come on the road and in his current form we get excellent value at +540 for Marsh to hit his ninth home run tonight.

Other Phillies batters to consider for a home run prop includes Kyle Schwarber (+190) and Bryce Harper (+420) who have combined for five home runs against Scherzer all-time.

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Pete Crow-Armstrong (CHC) +235

We struck out taking Ian Happ for a home run prop yesterday in this Cubs vs Rockies series, but we’re going right back there today taking a shot with Pete Crow-Armstrong to hit his 12th home run of the season tonight.

Although he went 0-4 yesterday, the Cubs outfielder is still batting .364 and slugging .691 across his last 15 days while smashing five home runs during that time as well.

Michael Lorenzen takes the mound for Colorado and although Crow-Armstrong and Lorenzen have never crossed paths, metrics lineup for PCA to have a big night tonight.

The Colorado starter has allowed 11 home runs on the season while posting an 8.01 ERA and has been absolutely hammered by left handed hitting this season.

Eight of his 11 home runs given up have been against left handed hitters while allowing them to hit .432 to go along with a .752 slugging percentage on the season.

He has allowed four home runs in total across his last four starts (16.2 IP) and Coors Field hasn’t been nice to him this season allowing opponents to bat .408 there while sporting a 9.67 ERA.

Eight of Crow-Armstrong’s 11 home runs have come against right handed pitching so let’s take him to continue his strong June with home run prop odds at +235 tonight. Other Cubs batters to look at for home run props includes Ian Happ (+300) and Michael Busch (+310).
