Camden Yards is always a great hitting environment and tonight we have wind blowing out at about 10 mph. There is potential rain, but a rainout would just be a voided ticket and if we can dance through the raindrops the humidity should make this game more hitter friendly.

MLB Props Today for Wednesday: Ian Happ Chicago Cubs OVER 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-118)

Ian Happ gets another opportunity to feast on Michael Lorenzen who he’s gone 3-10 (.300) against with two home runs, two free passes and five RBI.

Lorenzen might be the worst pitcher in the MLB as he’s allowed 54 earned runs on 99 hits across 60.2 innings of work resulting in a 2-8 record, 8.01 ERA and 1.99 WHIP.

The Rockies starter just allowed 8 earned runs on 10 hits across 3.1 innings pitched against the Los Angeles Angels. As bad as Lorenzen has been, the Colorado bullpen may be even worse as they rank dead last in ERA (6.57) and 29th in WHIP (1.60) since May 1st.

Coors Field is the optimal hitting environment and tonight we have temperatures close to 90 degrees. Happ has recorded 3+ HRR in 6 of his last 12 games and he’s projected to bat 5th in a Cubs lineup that should hammer this horrible pitching staff.
