We’ll take Goodman to cash his home run props today with the Cubs sending out Edward Cabrera. Cabrera was absolutely atrocious in his last start going 3.2 innings against the Giants while giving up eight earned runs including three home runs.

He has now given up 11 home runs in total with seven of those coming against righties while also allowing a .516 slugging percentage compared to a .421 slugging percentage allowed against lefties.

Goodman has hit 14 of his 18 home runs off right handed pitching this season with the Rockies catcher also slugging .560 across the last 30 days.

What’s odd about Goodman is that he has hit 11 of his 18 home runs away from Coors Field this season, but there is always an advantage to hit a home run when playing at such high elevation. It’s also worth noting that the Cubs bullpen has given up the eighth most home runs this season.

Although the odds aren’t the best we’re going to take Goodman’s hot bat to hit another home run tonight at +285 odds with other Rockies hitters to look at for a home run includes Willi Castro (+570) and TJ Rumfield (+630).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Randy Arozarena (SEA) +540

The Mariners look to take three of four games in their series at Baltimore after dropping last nights contest 7-2. We get valuable odds of +540 for Randy Arozarena to hit his home run props tonight already racking up six hits in this series including the game winning home run in Tuesday’s win.

That was Arozarena’s seventh home run of the season and third on the road with the Mariners outfielder batting .354 and slugging .520 in road games compared to a .234 average and .391 slugging percentage at home.

Kyle Bradish gets the start for Baltimore who has been solid this season although three of the eight total home runs he’s given up have come in his last four starts.

He has allowed a .474 slugging percentage to right handed hitters compared to a .395 slugging percentage allowed to lefties and all-time Arozarena has hit two home runs off Bradish in 18 at-bats.

Arozarena is batting .307 and slugging .471 off righties this season and he also has home runs against Orioles relievers Tyler Wells and Rico Garcia.
