Expert NBA Props for Friday: Josh Hart New York Knicks OVER 11.5 Points (-140)

Josh Hart just scored 18 points across 31 minutes on a 7-15 shooting effort against the Portland Trailblazers on January 11th.

Deni Avdija was busy defending Karl Anthony-Towns and Hart was able to take full advantage of Donovan Clingan’s drop coverage as he also shot 3-5 from beyond the arc.

The Trailblazers rank bottom 5 in defending transition where Hart thrives while scoring easy buckets. This is also a pace-up spot for Hart and the Knicks (26th) as Portland ranks 5th in tempo.

The Knicks are -7.5-point home favorites, and they just beat the Blazers by 9 points on the road less than a month ago. Hart scored 18 points in that game and we just need 12 to cash this ticket.

Expert NBA Props for Friday: Brandin Podziemski Golden State Warriors OVER 4.5 Assists (+134)

Jimmy Butler is out for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL and while the Golden State Warriors rotation has been a mess, Brandin Podziemski has averaged 27 minutes per game in the four games since Butler went down.

Podziemski has stepped it up as a facilitator and he’s covered this line in 4/5 games without Butler but with Steph Curry & Draymond Green while averaging 6.4 assists per game on 10 potential assists.

The Detroit Pistons are a tough nut to crack when it comes to assists allowed regardless of position, but Podziemski just recorded 5 dimes on 7 potential assists against them on January 5th.

Other shooting guards have also found success recently as Grayson Allen & Derrick White both logged 5 assists and Kris Dunn logged 6 assists.

The Warriors are -2.5-point home favorites so we should avoid a blowout and Podziemski should see full minutes in a hard-fought game.
