Expert NBA Props for Wednesday: Anthony Black Orlando Magic OVER 9.5 Rebounds + Assists (+100)

Franz Wagner has already been ruled out for this contest, but Jalen Suggs is active and Anthony Black has recorded 9+ Rebounds + Assists in 6/6 games with that combination of players while clearing this line in three of those games.

Now Black gets an opportunity to feast on a Miami Heat team that ranks #1 in pace of play and Black has covered this line in in 11/13 games against top 10 tempo teams including 8/9 without Wagner on the court.

The Heat have allowed the 2nd most RA to opposing point guards with an average of 16.6 per game. Black has already logged 10 & 14 RA in his last two head-to-head games against the Heat and one of those games was with Suggs but without Wagner.

This is an awful scheduling spot for Miami as they return home for only one game after a 5-game west coast road trip and they travel to Chicago for the second leg of a back-to-back against the Bulls tomorrow night.

The spread is only -2.5 and the total is 229.5 so Black should see full minutes in an up-tempo contest.

Expert NBA Props for Wednesday: Brandin Podziemski Golden State Warriors OVER 4.5 Assists (+102)

Jimmy Butler is out for the remainder of the season due to a torn ACL and while the Golden State Warriors rotation has been a mess, Brandin Podziemski has averaged 27 minutes per game in the four games since Butler went down.

Podziemski has stepped it up as a facilitator and he’s covered this line in 3/4 games without Butler but with Steph Curry & Draymond Green while averaging 6.3 assists per game.

Now Podziemski has the opportunity to feast on a Utah Jazz defense that has allowed the MOST assists overall including the 5th most to opposing shooting guards with 5.6 per game.

Norman Powell just recorded 6 assists against the Jazz with Dru Smith collecting 5 dimes in the same game. Podziemski just recorded 8 assists on 12 potential assists against Utah across 24 minutes on January 3rd.

The Warriors are favored by 9.5 points in a game with a total set high at 239.5 so there should be plenty of assist opportunities for Podziemski to repeat that performance.
