The Magic look to snap a four-game losing streak in Miami tonight taking on a Heat team they’ve already gone 3-0 against straight up this season.

We’ll look for Desmond Bane to go over 18.5 points tonight scoring 19+ in three straight games now. The Heat have allowed the second most points per game to opposing shooting guards over the last 15 days as well as the third most three-pointers made over that same stretch.

In the three head-to-head wins over the Heat Bane has averaged 21.7 ppg with Miami still running at the fastest pace in the league which should open up extra opportunities for Bane to score tonight.

It’s worth noting elite on-ball defender Davion Mitchell is questionable for this game after missing the team’s last three games so if he is limited in any way or out again, it opens up easier opportunities for Bane to score as well.

With these two teams separated by just one game atop the Southeast Division we should see somewhat of a playoff like atmosphere in Miami so let’s take Bane to be the go-to scorer on the perimeter for the Magic going over 18.5 points tonight.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Brandon Miller (CHA) Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)

After three-straight wins the Hornets believe it or not sit just six games back in the Southeast Division standings as they go head-to-head with the Grizzlies in Memphis tonight.

Brandon Miller has been a catalyst in the Hornets successful January so far averaging 30 points + rebounds during their current three-game winning streak.

We’re going to take him to go over 24.5 points + rebounds tonight against a Grizzlies team allowing the most points per game and second most rebounds per game to small forwards over the last seven days.

Sure, Miller hasn’t been known for his rebounding specifically averaging just 4.5 per game this season but he has racked up 19 rebounds in his last two games and averaging 5.5 for the month.

He’s averaging 26.8 points + rebounds per game in January with Memphis sitting bottom seven in defensive rating across their last five games.

It’s also worth noting that Memphis gives up the fourth most three-pointers made to small forwards over the last seven days with Miller shooting 44% from three-point range in January.

The Grizzlies run at the third fastest pace in the league which will open up more possessions all around so let’s go with Miller to maintain his current hot run notching over 24.5 points + rebounds tonight.
