Lefty Jacob Lopez gets the start for the Athletics allowing 12 home runs in 70 innings this season and has given up 10 of his 12 home runs to right handed batters.

On the season he has allowed righties to bat .294 to go along with a .502 slugging percentage compared to a .216 average and .324 slugging percentage allowed to righties.

Stewart has crushed left handed pitching this season batting .293 and slugging .525 compared to right handed pitching batting .243 and slugging .465.

Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. came back after an injury kept him out for roughly a couple weeks last night to go 3-5 with a double and two RBIs as the Royals beat the Twins at home 8-2.

He’ll get a favorable pitching matchup tonight as veteran Dean Kremer makes his first start for the Twins after spending his first six seasons in Baltimore.

Kremer has been bad in minimal action this season allowing 12 home runs in just 36 innings pitched while sporting an 8.55 road ERA. He has allowed righties to bat .259 to go along with a .552 slugging percentage with Witt Jr. playing phenomenally at home this season compared to road games.

He’s batting .304 and slugging .518 at Kauffman Stadium compared to a .262 average and .388 slugging percentage on the road. All-time Witt Jr. is 4-14 with a home run off Kremer and it’s worth noting that Witt Jr. also has home runs off of Twins relievers Kody Funderburk and Travis Adams.
