Burger has only had 18 at-bats against lefties this season in which he has one of his home runs and last season he had a .505 slugging percentage against lefties compared to a .389 slugging percentage against righties.

The first baseman is only hitting .184 in April but is riding a four game hitting streak heading into this one, and there should be extra incentive for Burger to hit a home run tonight as the Rangers have lost back-to-back games looking to tie the four-game series at two a piece before heading to Seattle.

It looks like it will be a bullpen game for the Astros today as they’ll send opener Ryan Weiss to the mound who has allowed three home runs already this season in just 11 innings pitched.

He has allowed a .357 batting average and .571 slugging percentage to lefties as we’ll look at Rockies outfielder Mickey Moniak to hit a home run tonight.

It’s not just Weiss who has been struggling though, it’s the entire Astros bullpen sporting a 6.12 ERA this season while allowing 18 home runs in total which is the most in the MLB so far on the season.

Last season Moniak hit a career high 24 home runs and is off to a nice start this season with five already while slugging .650.

Against Houston last season Moniak was 5-13 with a home run and has a home run against current Astros reliever Kai-Wei Teng who he could very well cross paths with tonight.

With odds at +410 let’s take Moniak to hit his sixth home run of the season as the Rockies look to take advantage of a vulnerable Astros bullpen group.
