Harris will be surrounded by Braves sluggers who have had short term success against Gusto including Matt Olson (2-5 HR) and Ozzie Albies (2-6 HR). Let’s look for Harris to get back on track at home where he’s covered this HRR line in 10 of his last 15 games.

Jac Caglianone has thrived in his first full season while posting a .763 OPS to go along with 18 home run and 42 RBI across 398 plate appearances.

Now Caglianone has another opportunity to feast on Joe Ryan who he’s gone 3-7 (.429) against with a double. Ryan has struggled in his two starts since the All-Star break as he’s allowed a combined 12 earned runs on 18 hits across only 10 innings of work.

That includes Ryan’s last outing against Kansas City where he allowed 4 earned runs across 6 innings pitched. The Twins did improve their bullpen at the trade deadline, but they still rank 26th in ERA on the season (4.91). 

Caglianone fell short of this line, but it is encouraging that he doubled in his last at-bat. Let’s look for him to carry that momentum into tonight’s contest.
