LIV Golf heads to Indiana for the first time, settling in at The Club at Chatham Hills from August 15–17. This Pete Dye masterpiece is not only his final design but arguably his most compelling work—crafted on rolling terrain with sculpted fairways, clever contours, wooded framing, and water hazards that lure players with beauty but punish any misstep.

The course, stretching just over 7,100 yards with a par 71 setup, boasts strategic intrigue on nearly every hole. Several holes offer strategic opportunities for the longest hitters, including drivable par-4s at the 3rd and 10th.

The routing weaves through undulating hills and sheltered green sites, making shot placement, angle management, and approach precision vital.

The greens, surrounded by subtle slopes and bunkers, force thoughtful attack and often make saving par feel like a success.

As the finale of the LIV Golf regular season, this event crowns the individual champion and locks in postseason team standings—setting the stage for high drama.

Joaquin Niemann -130 over Tyrell Hatton

Joaquin Niemann comes into this week as the top player in the standings, and while he doesn’t need a win to secure the season title, he’ll need a strong performance with Jon Rahm only 12 points behind. If Rahm is in contention, as expected, Niemann will have to keep pace and stay sharp.

On the other hand, Tyrrell Hatton appears to have checked out for the season, finishing 34th, 21st, and 23rd in his last three LIV events with nothing meaningful to play for. Given Niemann’s motivation and form versus Hatton’s lack of urgency, this looks like an easy pick.

LIV Golf Indianapolis 2025 Predictions: Top 5 Prediction

Jon Rahm Top 5 -130

Really, Niemann and Rahm are the two golfers most motivated this week as Niemann has the points lead, and Rahm is the only one who can catch him. I expect both these guys to be contending for the win, and Rahm probably needs a

win to have a chance so I expect a dialed in approach this week, coming off a 2nd place finish in Chicago last weekend.

I also expect some of the other golfers to kind of “get out of the way” of these two, don’t forget this is LIV where they need storylines, and someone random winning while Rahm and Niemann finish 3rd and 4th isn’t exciting.

Look for Rahm to be aggressive and dialed in and to finish close to the top and inside the Top 5.
