We cashed our home run prop with one Royals batter yesterday and we’re going right back to the well with Jac Caglianone tonight as we’ll look for him to cash his home run prop at +360 odds.

Caglianone went off yesterday at Toronto going 5-6 with a home run at 6 RBIs which raised his RBI total to 26 in August which is second most among all MLB hitters this month.

Kansas City travels to face division rival Cleveland who sends righty Tanner Bibee to the mound. He has struggled giving up home runs this season with 26 allowed in total and 19 of those coming at home.

He has allowed 20 of 26 home runs to left handed batters like Caglianone and has given up six home runs combined across his last four starts (24 IP).

The Royals outfielder has hit 11 of his 23 home runs on the road this season and in the last 30 days he’s batting .400 and slugging .695 including seven home runs.

With the Royals bouncing back in a big way on Thursday after being shutout on Wednesday, let’s take Caglianone to keep his hot bat going by taking his home run prop at +360 tonight. Other Royals to consider for home run props today are Bobby Witt Jr. (+350) and Carter Jensen (+400).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Coby Mayo (BAL) +300

We’re going to take another batter who hit a home run during yesterday’s slate in Coby Mayo who blasted a three-run shot during the Orioles’ 7-5 loss at St. Louis.

Baltimore now travels to Sacramento to take on the Athletics who are sending lefty Jacob Lopez to the mound. Mayo has absolutely destroyed left handed pitching this season batting .307 and slugging .746 including 14 of his 18 home runs compared to right handed pitching in which he’s batting just .160 and slugging .272.

Lopez has allowed 15 total home runs in 94 innings this season with eight of them coming at home and 13 of them coming against right handed batters while allowing a .468 slugging percentage against them compared to a .290 slugging percentage against left handed batters.

Lopez does have a start under his belt against Baltimore already this season in which he pitched 5.1 innings while allowing two home runs although neither were to Mayo.

It’s also worth noting that Mayo has hit ten of his 18 home runs on the road this season and is slugging .548 over the last 30 days. In a favorable hitters environment against a pitcher vulnerable to giving up home runs, let’s take Mayo at +300 to hit his home run prop tonight.
