Manaea has had his fair share of hiccups lately allowing three combined home runs across his last two starts and 16 in total allowed on the season with nine of them coming on the road.

After hitting just one home run in the first two months of the season combined, Fernando Tatis has slowly but surely found his footing in the power department blasting seven of his 15 total home runs in August so far.

Let’s take Tatis Jr. to hit his home run prop tonight as the Padres welcome the Twins to Petco Park who send lefty Connor Prielipp to the mound.

Prielipp has allowed four home runs combined across his last three starts (15.1 IP) and sports a 6.15 ERA in road starts compared to a 4.83 ERA in home starts.

Although Tatis Jr. has never faced Prielipp in his career, he has been highly efficient against left handed pitching in general this season.

He’s slugging .551 against lefties this season compared to a .401 slugging percentage against righties and has been solid at home this season batting .316 and slugging .440 compared to a .250 average and .428 slugging percentage on the road.

He just had two home runs in the Padres 5-2 win over the Mets on Tuesday as the Padres hold on tight to the last NL Wildcard spot heading into tonight.
