MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #1: Ian Happ (CHC) +320

Ian Happ heads into Tuesday’s series opener at Colorado as the Cubs home run leader with 14 with 11 of those coming against right handed pitching.

Righty Tomoyuki Sugano takes the mound for the Rockies allowing 11 home runs on the season and eight of those coming against left handed batters.

Happ will be batting left handed against Sugano and although he has hit only five of his 14 home runs on the road, he’ll have an advantage to hit his home run props tonight playing in Coors Field.

Happ loved playing at Coors Field last season going 6-12 with three doubles and two home runs and in June so far this season he’s batting .250 but slugging .650.

If Happ doesn’t have a home run by the time Sugano exits the game, there’s still hope for Happ to hit a home run with the Rockies bullpen giving up the fifth most home runs of any bullpen in the MLB this season.

The Cubs outfielder has hit 21+ home runs in each of the last three seasons and is on his way there this season so let’s take him to hit his home runs props tonight at +320 odds. Other Chicago batters to consider for a home run includes Pete Crow-Armstrong (+240) and Michael Busch (+320).

MLB Home Run Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Colby Thomas (ATH) +280

We’re going to target this Brewers vs Athletics matchup once again tonight for home run props with a whopping 29 runs scored in last night’s series opener.

There were 11 total home runs hit in last night’s game which have tilted home run prop odds against us but we still have value targeting outfielder Colby Thomas to hit a home run tonight.

The Brewers will send out lefty Robert Gasser to the mound who has allowed two home runs in 13.1 total innings of action this season.

Of Thomas’s 49 total at-bats this season, 42 have come against lefties with Thomas batting .286 and slugging .476 against them this season.

Thomas has just two home runs this season but one of them came six days ago while batting .250 and slugging .625 in June so far. Gasser hasn’t pitched more than five innings in an appearance since 2024 and it’s worth noting that even if he struggles, the Brewers could be forced to leave him in with four different relievers throwing 20+ pitches last night.

In limited starts Thomas has been listed more towards the top of the order and we’ll assume he starts again tonight with a struggling Lawrence Butler coming off the bench.

With that take Thomas to hit his home run prop at +280 with other notable hitters worth taking to hit a home run includes Shea Langeliers (+190) and Brent Rooker (+225) although the odds aren’t as great.
