NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Duncan Robinson (DET) Over 11.5 Points (-105)

Off back-to-back wins at Washington, the Pistons will attempt to hold on to first place in the Eastern Conference without Cade Cunningham for the foreseeable future.

They host Golden State tonight in which we’ll take shooting guard Duncan Robinson over 11.5 points. In eight games without Cunningham this season Robinson has averaged 15.9 points per game including a 14 point effort last night on 5-10 shooting.

When these two teams met back on January 30 in San Francisco Robinson scored 15 on 5-11 shooting with the Warriors allowing the most points per game to shooting guards over the last 30 days.

Sure, Robinson has been known to have dud performances like his one-point effort in Toronto last Sunday, but that was with Cunningham in the lineup and he particularly looks sharp when Cunningham can’t be relied upon like usual.

Another interesting data point about Robinson is that he averages 13.4 points per game at home which is 3.1 points more than he averages in road games and shoots 9% better from three point range at home as well compared to away.

With Cunningham sidelined and the Pistons needing consistent outside shooting, let’s take Robinson over 11.5 points in Detroit tonight.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jamal Murray (DEN) Over 23.5 Points (-108)

Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray hasn’t been on his A-game as of late averaging just 12 points across his last three games, but we’re going to take him to bounce back tonight going over 23.5 points.

Before the last three games Murray had been averaging 28.7 points per game in March before playing the Lakers last Saturday with Denver hosting Murray’s home country Raptors tonight.

Toronto has allowed the third most points per game to point guards in the last 30 days and Murray knows he has to step up his scoring with Denver coming off a brutal 125-118 upset from the Nuggets in which they were going in 12-13 point favorites.

It’s worth noting that the Raptors have allowed the second least points per game to centers over the last 30 days so Nikola Jokic may be limited in his scoring prompting Murray to potentially be the leading scorer for Denver in what seems like a must-win game.

The Nuggets sit just three games up on Phoenix for the last guaranteed playoff spot in the West and could be in danger of the play-in if they don’t string some wins together before the end of the season. Let’s take Murray to turn it around tonight for Denver going over 23.5 points against Toronto at home.
