NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jalen Brunson (NYK) Over 33.5 Points + Assists (-118)

Jalen Brunson and the Knicks cap off a five game road trip at Indiana tonight as we’ll look for the Knicks point guard to go over 33.5 points + assists.

The Knicks are favored by double digits in this matchup, but Indiana has actually been competitive with them this season and won outright in their last meeting a month ago 137-134 in overtime.

Brunson has averaged 40 points + assists in the two head-to-head matchups with the Pacers allowing the third most points and fourth most assists to point guards per game over the last 30 days.

Brunson has averaged 34.3 points + assists across his last three games with Indiana coming in 29th in defensive rating across their last ten games.

Indiana will be playing the second leg of a back-to-back tonight so there will be some tired legs on defense after allowing a season high 36 points to Suns point guard Jalen Green last night.

As of this writing both Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart are questionable which could put more of the scoring load on Brunson so let’s take him to have another solid performance going over 33.5 points + assists on Friday night.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Keon Ellis (CLE) Over 8.5 Points (+108)

Jarrett Allen and Max Strus are set to miss another game tonight as the Cavaliers head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks.

One player who has stepped up the past couple games without them has been Keon Ellis scoring 19 against Philadelphia on Monday and 20 against the Magic on Wednesday.

We’ll take him to go over 8.5 points tonight with the Mavericks allowing fourth most points per game to shooting guards over the last 15 days.

Ellis has seen his minutes uptick due to injuries now at 27.8 per game in March while averaging 18.5 minutes in January and 21.6 in February.

Sure, Ellis hasn’t been known for his scoring throughout his five year career, but he’s shooting 51% from the field through five February games while averaging 10 points per game.

The Mavericks run at the fifth fastest pace in the league with their bench sitting 20th in defensive rating over the past ten games so let’s go with Ellis to keep his hot streak in-tact scoring over 8.5 points tonight on the road at Dallas as Cleveland continues to navigate through injuries to their rotation.
