NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jalen Johnson (ATL) Over 42.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-108)

Jalen Johnson and the Hawks started up their second half of the season last night with a 117-107 win at Philadelphia where Jalen Johnson put up 32 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

We’re going to take the first time all-star to go over 42.5 points + rebounds + assists as Southeast Division rivals Heat and Hawks meet in Atlanta tonight.

These two teams run at the two fastest paces of any in the league with Miami allowing the tenth most points, second most rebounds and ninth most assists to power forwards on the season so far.

These two teams have already met twice this season with Johnson averaging 47 points + rebounds + assists against Miami and is averaging 53% shooting against divisional foes on the year.

Johnson is even improving by the month this season especially since Trae Young got traded averaging 39.2 points + rebounds + assists in January compared to averaging 48 points + rebounds + assists through five games this month.

With both Miami and Atlanta sitting within four games of the division lead let’s look at Johnson to be the primary playmaker for the Hawks tonight at home going over 42.5 points + rebounds + assists.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Cam Thomas (MIL) Over 16.5 Points (-108)

When Cam Thomas was waived by Brooklyn it left many scratching their heads because he possesses the talent to at least be apart of a rotation in the NBA.

The Bucks came calling and so far they haven’t regretted it with the shooting guard averaging 16.6 points in three games with the team so far.

Milwaukee opens up the second half of their season in New Orleans taking on a Pelicans team that allows the most points per game to shooting guards on the season and sit 27th in defensive efficiency.

Thomas actually has a game under his belt at New Orleans this season scoring 16 points off the bench for Brooklyn back in mid January.

We’re going to take Thomas to get over 16.5 points and actually like if he comes off the bench still going against a Pelicans second unit that includes Karlo Matkovic, Bryce McGowens and Jeremiah Fears which aren’t exactly household names.

When the Bucks and Pelicans met on Feb 4 Milwaukee scored 141 points and although Thomas wasn’t apart of the team yet, guards Gary Trent Jr. and Kevin Porter Jr. combined to score 31 points off the bench.

With Giannis Antetokounmpo and Myles Turner already set to miss tonight’s action, it may be smart for Milwaukee to lean on their guard play more so which includes Thomas so let’s take him to get over 16.5 points in New Orleans against the Pelicans tonight.
