NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Reed Sheppard (HOU) Over 1.5 Three-Pointers Made (-150)

The Pistons allow the third fewest points in the paint per game this season so if Houston wants to compete for a win in the second leg of a back-to-back, they’ll have to get some additional help from some outside shooting.

We’re going to take Reed Sheppard to make over 1.5 three-pointers in Detroit tonight making 3+ three-pointers in four-straight games now.

He’s been averaging 2.6 three-pointers made per game this season and we’re aware this line may move to 2.5 three-pointers made which we’d advocate Sheppard going over for as well.

In their first head-to-head matchup way back on October 24th Sheppard went 3-4 from three-point range.

Across his last eight games Sheppard is shooting 45% from downtown on over six attempts per game so let’s look for Sheppard to go over 1.5 three-pointers made in Detroit tonight.

We’re comfortable backing over 2.5 three-pointers made should the line get there at any point today before tipoff.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jock Landale (MEM) Over 20.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

Jock Landale has gone over 20.5 points + rebounds in six of his last eight games and we’ll look for him to go over that number at home tonight as the Grizzles host the Pelicans.

New Orleans has given up the fifth most points and sixth most rebounds per game to centers this season which includes recent results like Jalen Duren racking up 35 points + rebounds in their last game as well as Jay Huff of Indiana notching 38 points + rebounds in their game last Friday.

The Pelicans still sit bottom three in defensive efficiency this season and sit bottom ten in rebounding rate as well.

Across his last five games Landale is shooting 57% from the field and although Landale struggled in their last head-to-head matchup with New Orleans, Zach Edey was healthy and played in that game but has been out with injury for a while now.

Edey had 36 points + rebounds in that game and although we don’t expect Landale to put up those numbers tonight, we fully anticipate he’ll be able to go over 20.5 points + rebounds.

Look for the Grizzlies big man to be active in the paint against a vulnerable Pelicans team on a three-game losing streak and giving up the fourth most offensive rebounds per game this season.
