THE PLAY: REGULATION Own Goal Scored (+1200)
Celta Vigo vs Alaves
La Liga, Sunday, 11:15am ET
Play: Own Goal Scored
Odds at Time of Release: +1200 B365
Line Parameter: Line good to +1000
It's been a while, but this match-up is favourable for our "Celta Trifecta" tactic, and for those of you that don't know what that is, we basically take Penalty Kick, Red Card, and Own Goal scored in Celta matches, as they produce at least one of 3 more often than not. Now they are hosting Alaves, who have produced at least one of those 3 in 6 of L/7 matches.
Alaves L/7 matches: Own Goal vs Villarreal, 2 Penalty Kicks and 2 Red Cards vs Valencia, Red Card vs Levante, nothing vs Girona, Red Card vs Sevilla, Penalty vs Getafe, 2 Penalties vs Real Sociedad.
We had a Penalty Kick in the reverse fixture, a Penalty Kick when Celta hosted Alaves last season, and an Own Goal and a Red Card combo the season before that, a Red Card and a Penalty Kick in two matches in 2021/2022, and a Red Card in two matches in 2020/21, a Red Card and two Penalty Kicks in 1 of 2 matches in 2019/20, and the list goes on.
Penalty Kick Awarded is +220 at FD
Red Card is +500 (!) at B365
Own Goal Scored is +1200 at B365
The tactic is to take ALL 3 bets, and we need just one of them to win in order to turn a profit. Two or more wins and we got ourselves a nice payout.
Take 0.25% on Own Goal Scored (+1200 B365), line good to +1000

THE PLAY: REGULATION Matthis Abline Anytime Goalscorer (+270)
Nantes vs Strasbourg
Ligue 1, Sunday, 3:45pm ET
Play: Matthis Abline Anytime Goalscorer
Odds at Time of Release: +270 DraftKings
Line Parameter: Line good to +230
Nantes are under the new manager bounce, bringing back team LEGEND Vahid Halilhodzic, who not only was a key player for Nantes back in the 80s, but also coached them in the 2018-19 season. Very experienced coach, with stints at PSG, Lille, but also at the national teams of Morocco, Japan, Algeria and Ivory Coast.
He admitted that he is taking on a suicide mission, as Nantes are currently sitting 2nd to last with 17 points, 5 points behind the 16th spot (that leads to relegation playoffs) and 10 points behind salvation, but also with two matches in hand, so anything is possible.
Their match vs PSG last week was postponed, so the new coach had the time to work with his team, with double training sessions and open to the public. He's doing everything right, using every trick in the book to light a fire under these players. And there was even a funny interaction with the team's striker, Abline, whom he asked "How many goals have you scored this season?". Abline replied "4". Coach said "You're kidding! I used to score 4 in a single game".
He sure has a way with firing up his strikers, who always tend to score in Halilhodzic's debuts on club level. He did so with the late Emiliano Salas when he last coached Nantes, who scored 8 goals in his first 6 matches, then again with Oscar Cardozo in his Trabsonzpor debut, prior to that with Dinamo Zagreb's Ante Rukavina, who scored twice in his debut, then again with Jared Borgetti in Al Ittihad, who scored 3 goals and 1 assist in the first two matches, then again with Yilmaz in his other debut with Trabzonspor, then again with Piquionne in his Rennes debut. I could go on an on about that, but he sure has a way of liting a fire under his strikers.
So there's that. Maybe Abline has a good game here, he is +270 to score anytime and +650 to record an assist (he is leading Nantes in both goals and assists this season).
Take 1% on Matthis Abline Anytime Goalscorer (+270), line good to +230
THE PLAY: FC Nantes +0.5 (-118)
Nantes vs Strasbourg
Ligue 1, Sunday, 3:45pm ET
Play: Nantes +0.5
Odds at Time of Release: -118
Line Parameter: Line good to -125
Good match-up to fade the favourites here (Strasbourg are -105 favourites on the road), for several reasons (new manager bounce, Strasbourg's schedule etc). First of all, Nantes are under the new manager bounce, bringing back team LEGEND Vahid Halilhodzic, who not only was a key player for Nantes back in the 80s, but also coached them in the 2018-19 season. Very experienced coach, with stints at PSG, Lille, but also at the national teams of Morocco, Japan, Algeria and Ivory Coast.

All the while, Strasbourg are coming off a tiresome mid-week Draw in the Conference League which saw them through to the quarter-finals. Didn't even score in L/2 league matches, and are win-less in L/6 in the league (W0 D4 L2). They still have chances for a top-6 finish and a European ticket that comes with it but, realistically, their focus is on the Conference League quarter-finals, and they're also through to the semi-finals of the French Cup, so those are the priorities right now.
Nantes have played exactly 3 matches over the past month, this will be their 4th, so they are well-rested and eager to fight for survival. On the other hand, this will be Strasbourg's 8th match in that span, on top of some injuries they got and the accumulated fatigue.
Taking Nantes +0.5 (-118) and a smaller bet on Abline Anytime Goalscorer (+270), see if this coach's mindgames really work.
Take 3% on Nantes +0.5 (-118), line good to -125

Consultant Bio
Pavlos betting on European sports when he was in High School, back when most people his age didn't even know how to bet. After acquiring a Bachelor's Degree in International Economic Relationships and development from the Democritus University in Greece, Pavlos took a different path.
Things really took off for him in 2014 when he officially started writing predictions for US-based sites. Things picked up pretty quickly, and he has produced thousands upon thousands of match previous and predictions. He tends to venture off the beaten path, looking for hidden gems in a myriad of games you can bet on.
Single and double bets aside, Pavlos likes to play the odds as well. While some days there are safe single bets, there are other days that provide opportunities for different bets. Bets like Correct Scores, amount of Yellow Cards, Half-Time/Full-Time results, and all kinds of prop bets. Pavlos covers the following leagues: Major League Soccer (MLS), Copa America, EURO Cup, English Premier League, German Bundesliga, Spanish La Liga, Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Champions League, and Europa League.
The betting systems he created have seen some massive pay-outs over the years. A couple of correct scores paired together can potentially save your entire season. These are small-stake bets that cost a few units but could bring massive returns on your investment.
