Expert NBA Props for Monday: Moussa Diabate Charlotte Hornets OVER 11.5 Points (+100)

Joel Embiid has been absolutely rolling with 29+ points in seven straight games (avg 34.1/game), and he should be fired up tonight snubbed in the upcoming NBA All Star game.

Now Paul George has been suspended for 25 games and Embiid has seen a usage rate of 29% or better in 8/9games with him while only falling short on Opening Night.

Embiid cleared his respective points line in 7/9 games without George, and he’s beat this line in 3 of his last 4 games with 30 & 40 points in his last two games.

Embiid hasn’t played head-to-head against Ivica Zubac in a few years, but he’s feasted on him throughout his career with 29+ points in 4/7 games (avg 34.6/game) while landing on 28, 26 & 27 in the three games where he fell short.

Zubac has struggled defensively since recovering from an injury and we have seen Nikola Jokic score 31 points (only 25 mins), Nikola Vucevic score 19 points (only 12 FGA) and Alex Sarr scored 28 points.

The Los Angeles Clippers are only favored by -1.5 points so we should see a close game leading to full minutes.

This is the first game of a 5-game West Coast road trip for Embiid & the Sixers so I’m sure they want to get off on the right foot. This is the perfect recipe for a big game.
