NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jrue Holiday (POR) Over 17.5 Points + Assists (-115)

Jrue Holiday makes his return to Boston for the first time since becoming a member of the Trail Blazers as these two go head to head tonight.

We’ll take him to go over 17.5 points + assists tonight , averaging 17.6 points + assists in six January games.

These two have already met once in Portland, but Holiday missed that game so you’ll know he’ll be eager to go against his former team for the one and only time this season.

The Celtics have given up the most assists to point guards per game across the last 15 days with Holiday being effective in back-to-back games averaging 25 points + assists at home against the Heat and Raptors.

Keep in mind Holiday’s minutes may be monitored once again tonight after being out for two months with an injury but the 22 minutes he saw last game were the most since his return.

Should this game stay close we should see Holiday post between 22-25 minutes played considering the team has had two days off in between games.

Look for Holiday to make an impact against his former team in Boston tonight going over 17.5 points + assists with Portland ranking top seven in offensive rating across their last five games.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Jock Landale (MEM) Over 1.5 Assists (-120)

Jock Landale has racked up a double-double in each of his last two games played but it’s not points or rebounds that we’re targeting for him tonight as the Grizzlies and Rockets go head-to-head in Houston.

We’re going to look for Landale to go over 1.5 assists tonight with the Rockets giving up the most assists per game to centers over the last 15 days.

Now Landale isn’t obviously known for his passing abilities, but he has notched two or more assists in three straight games now and averaging 2.1 assists per game in January.

Recently, the Rockets have been giving up assists to centers including Isaiah Stewart (2), Joel Embiid (10), Victor Wembanyama (2), Derik Queen (5) and Naz Reid (4) so we think there is a decent shot of Landale getting to two assists in this game given he plays his January average of 26.2 minutes per game.

Memphis is seventh in assist ratio this season so let’s look for Landale to make it four-straight with two assists on the road in Houston tonight.
