Milwaukee Bucks vs Boston Celtics Betting Analysis

The Boston Celtics head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks for an Eastern Conference showdown on Tuesday night. The Bucks won their 10th straight game 119-106 in Los Angeles against the Clippers on Friday night. The Celtics won their 4th straight 119-109 at home against Memphis on Sunday.

This will be the second of three games in a regular season series Boston leads 1-0 after beating Milwaukee 139-118 at home on Christmas Day. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM EST/4:30 PST as the first game of a TNT Tuesday night doubleheader.

Next Man Up

The Boston Celtics improved to a league best 41-16 on the season after winning their 4th straight game over Memphis on Sunday. The Celtics dominated the glass with a 54-34 rebounding advantage.

Derrick White led his team in scoring with a 23 point, 10 assist double-double. Robert Williams III also recorded a 10 point, 16 rebound double-double while Jayson Tatum scored 16 points on a horrendous 3-16 shooting performance including 1-8 from long distance.

The Celtics still have the NBAs best record with a slim 1.5 game lead over tonight’s opponent. Boston is still a top five offense at 5th in scoring with 117.6 points a game on 47.4% from the field.

The defense continues to improve as Robert Williams III works his way back as they currently rank 4th in defensive rating and 6th in defensive scoring with 111.4 points allowed per game.

Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart have all been ruled out for this contest while Robert Williams III and Al Horford are listed as questionable.

Bucks Push For 11th Straight Victory

The Milwaukee Bucks continued their torrid pace and upped their record to 39-17 on the season after winning their 10th straight game over the Clippers on Friday.

Three point shooting proved to be the difference as Milwaukee went 17-39 43.6% from beyond the arc while Los Angeles went only 11-33 for 33.3%. Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 35 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 assists.

Brook Lopez recorded a 22 point, 15 rebound double-double while Jrue Holiday chipped in with 19 points and 6 assists. The Bucks sit at 2nd place in the Eastern Conference, only 1.5 games behind tonight’s opponent. Milwaukee ranks 13th in scoring with 114.6 points a game on 46.3% from the floor.

They are the #2 rated defense and they sit at 7th in defensive scoring with 111.6 points allowed per game.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently listed as questionable for this contest while Bobby Portis has already been ruled out. Newly acquired Jae Crowder won’t be available until after the All-Star break.

The Milwaukee Bucks are heavy 9 point home favorites with a total set at 225. This is a potential Eastern Conference Finals preview between the current top two seeds, but unfortunately the Celtics have already ruled out their top three players for tonight’s contest.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is also questionable on the other side, fun times!! This situation has me looking at Brook Lopez Rebounds + Assists over 7.5. Lopez has cleared this mark in three straight and 6 of his last 8 games.

Lopez has recorded double digit RA in 4 of his last 7 games. If Giannis plays the Celtics bigs will be tied up with him, if he doesn’t then Lopez will own the paint. Let’s roll with Lopez over RA for a small play..
