Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks Betting Analysis
The Milwaukee Bucks travel to the United Center for an Eastern Conference showdown with the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday night. The Bulls are coming off a 133-118 beat down at the hands of the lowly Houston Rockets.
The Bucks wrap up a five game road trip after getting dismantled 139-118 in Boston on Christmas Day. The is the second of four regular season meetings, Chicago prevailed 118-113 at home on November 23rd. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM EST/5:00 PST.
Bucks Hope To Snap Three Game Skid
The Milwaukee Bucks record dropped to 22-11 on the season after losing their third straight game against the Boston Celtics on Christmas Day. This is the fifth and final game of a road trip the Bucks are currently 1-3 on.
Boston had a tremendous advantage from beyond the arc as they shot 19-39 for 48.7% while Milwaukee shot only 13-36 36.1%. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a team high 27 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 assists.
Jrue Holiday added 23 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds while Brook Lopez chipped in with 16 points. The Bucks rank 17th in scoring with 112.6 points a game on 46.2% from the field.
Defense is their calling card as they rank 6th with only 110.1 points allowed per game on 45.5% from the floor. Bucks stars Khris Middleton (knee) and Jrue Holiday (hamstring) have both already been ruled out for this contest.
Bulls Bounce Back?
The Chicago Bulls record dipped to 14-19 on the season after losing at home against the Rockets on Monday. Houston dominated the paint where they outscored Chicago 60-44 and out-rebounded them 45-35.
Demar Derozan led the team in scoring with 31 points along with 9 assists and 5 rebounds. Zach Lavine added 22 points on 9-19 from the field while Colby White chipped in with 14 points off the bench.
The Bulls sit at 18th in defensive scoring with 115.1 points allowed per game. They sit at 16th in scoring with 113.4 points a game on 48.3% from the field. Alex Caruso (shoulder), Javonte Green (knee) and Derrick Jones Jr (ankle) are all listed as questionable for this contest.
Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks Same Game Parlay
The Milwaukee Bucks are favored by 2.5 points with a total of 230.5. This is a rivalry game between two teams who sit close geographically. The Bulls took the first meeting 118-113, Jrue Holiday played in that game and he will be out tonight.
Grayson Allen has been a big part of that rivalry saying he has heard louder crowds in college than in Chicago. Allen has a point total that moved up to 10.5 with the news of Holiday not playing.
He has fallen short of this total in four straight games but has went over in four straight against the Bulls including 5 of his 6 games at the United Center. Over the last seven games, Chicago has allowed the 2nd most points and most three-pointers to opposing shooting guards.
With Middleton & Holiday, someone has to pick up the slack and Allen loves playing in Chicago. Let’s take an over on his extremely manageable point total.
