NBA Player Props for Tuesday: Karl-Anthony Towns New York Knicks OVER 4.5 Assists (-122)

Karl-Anthony Towns has stepped as a facilitator in the postseason while recording 6+ assists in 7 straight games and averaging 6.6 assists per game. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers defensive system in the playoffs has been to force the ball out of the star players hands while forcing the opposition’s role players to beat them. Hart should draw Jarrett Allen as a cross matchup, and he should be able to take advantage of his drop coverage.

Cleveland ranked 23rd in three-point attempts (8.8/game) and 26th in three-pointers allowed (3.4/game) to opposing shooting guards on the season. 

Hart has covered this line in 6 straight head-to-head games against the Cavaliers including both games during the 2025-26 campaign.

In Hart’s lone game with James Harden on the court, he went 2-8 from long distance and all 8 of those attempts were considered wide open looks.

The Knicks will need Hart on the court in a physical series, and he should be able to take advantage of some open looks.
