NBA Player Props for Monday: Chet Holmgren Oklahoma City Thunder UNDER 16.5 Points (-135)

Chet Holmgren feasted on the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns with 16+ points in 7/8 games during the first two rounds of the NBA playoffs.

However, neither of those teams have the size or rim protection of the San Antonio Spurs and Holmgren fell short of this line in 3/4 head-to-head games during the regular season.

Holmgren’s lone over occurred in a 17-point effort and his volume was down with an average of only 7.8 field goal attempts per game.

When Holmgren has taken fewer than 10 shots, he’s fallen short of this line in 83% of his games while averaging 13 points per game.

Jalen Williams is set to return to action after an injury and that could cut into Holmgren’s production. The San Antonio Spurs defense ranks #1 in the postseason and Holmgren has gone under this number in 5/6 games (avg 12.3/game) against above averages defenses when the Thunder are at full strength.

NBA Player Props for Monday: Devin Vassell San Antonio Spurs OVER 14.5 Points + Assists (+100)

Devin Vassell has managed to cover this line in 6/11 playoff games while actually landing on 14 exactly four times and seeing steady volume with an average of 11.4 field goal attempts per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trailblazers weren’t necessarily ideal matchups for Vassell, and he should see some open looks against an Oklahoma City Thunder team that allowed plenty of spot up points during the regular season.

Vassell cleared this line in 2/4 games against the Thunder, but he shot only a combined 19% from the field in the two games where he fell short.

Vassell is a great defender, and the Spurs will need him on the floor to contend with OKC’s elite backcourt.

San Antonio is playing with momentum as they have scored 126 and 139 points in their last two wins. We can’t expect that type of scoring against the Thunder but there should be ample opportunities for Vassell to beat this line.
