Home Run Prop Prediction 1: Nick Castellanos (+390)

Nationals starter Trevor Williams could have his hands full tonight facing a Phillies team in which he’s given up 13 home runs collectively too their current hitters.

Let’s roll with Nick Castellanos who has a hit every day in August so far including three home runs. He’s 11-28 in his career against Williams with two home runs and has hit 14 of his 17 home runs against right handed pitching this season.

Castellanos has hit 11 of 17 home runs at home while batting .306 compared to hitting six away from Citizens Bank Park while batting .248.

Williams sports a 5.02 ERA on the road while allowing 14 of his 22 home runs on the season away from home as well. He’s allowed a home run in four straight starts including allowing five earned runs in four innings against the lowly Mets his last time out.

Take Castellanos to hit a home run tonight at +390 with other Phillies hitters to consider are J.T. Realmuto (+360) who is 5-10 with three home runs against Williams and Kyle Schwarber (+210) who is 10-37 with four home runs against Williams.

Home Run Prop Prediction 2: Rafael Devers (+400)

Royals starter Cole Ragans was solid in his second start as a member of the team pitching six shutout innings and striking out eight against the Mets on August 2nd.

We’re going with a lefty-lefty matchup here taking Rafael Devers to hit a home run at Fenway Park on Monday. Ragans allows lefties to bat .297 with a .459 slugging percentage compared to allowing righties to hit .213 with a .330 slugging percentage.

Devers has hit lefties better than righties on the season batting .293 with a .561 slugging percentage against lefties compared to batting .255 with a .504 slugging percentage against righties. He bats .289 at home including a home run two days ago in a 5-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

The Red Sox need to string some wins together to stay competitive in the AL Wildcard race so expect Devers to come alive tonight hitting a home run at +400 with other Red Sox hitters to consider for a home run include Justin Turner (+520) and Adam Duvall (+340).
