NRFI Prediction 1: Dodgers vs Padres (+112)

We’re going to the first game on today’s card for our first NRFI selection as Tony Gonsolin goes against Seth Lugo in today’s series finale between the Dodgers and Padres.

Gonsolin hasn’t allowed a first inning run in 15 of 17 including back-to-back starts with Lugo not allowing one in 13 of 16 starts while not allowing a first inning run in six straight.

These two teams are bottom half of the MLB as far as team batting average during the day as Gonsolin only allows a .216 batting average collectively to current Padres batters.

Lugo was solid in July sporting a 3.45 ERA while allowing two runs or less in four of five starts last month. Play on a NRFI in today’s Dodgers vs Padres matchup with odds at +112 with first pitch slated for 4:10pm ET.

NRFI Prediction 2: Yankees vs White Sox (-138)

The Yankees and White Sox have two of the bottom eight offenses in the MLB as far as team batting average goes as they kick off a 3-game series starting tonight.

Gerrit Cole takes the mound in Chicago not allowing a first inning run in 17 of his 23 starts on the season going up against Dylan Cease not allowing a first inning run in 18 of 23 starts.

All three games these two have played this season have gone to a NRFI with Cole sporting a 2.26 ERA on the road this season.

He’s only allowed four earned runs in his last three starts (20.1 IP) with Cease looking to re-tool for a bounce back after a disastrous start against Texas his last time out. Play on a Yankees vs White Sox NRFI tonight at -138 with first pitch slated for 8:10pm ET.
