MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Anthony Volpe, Yankees OVER 0.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-150)

I’m convinced that the juice is worth the squeeze on this one after seeing Anthony Volpe go 2-3 with a solo blast last night against the likes of Garret Crochet.

Volpe has cleared this lowered HRR line in 9 of his last 12 games and 64% of his games on the season. Now Volpe gets another shot at Brayan Bello who he’s gone 6-17 (.353) against with a home run and a double.

Bello hasn’t been in his best form with a 5.40 ERA across 25 September innings including and a game where he allowed 4 earned runs across 5 innings pitched against the New York Yankees.

The moment doesn’t seem too big for Volpe, and he managed to hit .286 across 49 postseason at-bats during the 2024 campaign.

You could pivot to over 0.5 total bases (-120) for lower juice, but you risk not cashing this ticket with a sacrifice fly or run scored after a free pass and Volpe drew 10 free passes in the 2024 playoffs.

MLB Player Props Today for Wednesday: Teoscar Hernandez, Dodgers Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-120)

Teoscar Hernandez is coming off a monster game where he went 3-5 with two home runs and five RBI. Hernandez also held his own last October with a .769 OPS and three home runs across 70 player appearances.

Now Hernandez gets another crack at Zack Littell who he’s gone 2-4 against. Littell hasn’t been in great form as he’s posted a 4.91 ERA across 25.2 September innings of work.

Hernandez is projected to bat 5th tonight behind Max Muncy who has gone 2-5 against Littell with two home runs.

Pitching dominated yesterday’s games outside of this series where we saw a 10-5 Dodgers victory. This is a fair price for a hot hitter who is riding a 7-game hitting streak while clearing this HRR line in five of those games.
