MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Corey Seager OVER 1.5 Runs + Hits + RBI (-145)

Corey Seager is one the hottest hitters in MLB, and he’s covered this Runs + Hits + RBI line in eight-straight games and ten of his last 11 games. Seager is riding an eight-game hitting streak with four home runs during his last six games while posting a .318 batting average and .955 slugging percentage.

Randy Vasquez has a 64-percent fastball usage rate and that’s ideal for Seager as he hits .286 against that pitch with a .464 slugging percentage.

Seager has started slow this season by his standards but his advanced metrics are elite as he owns .298 xBA (94th percentile) and a 585 xSLG (97th percentile).

Petco Park is a better hitting environment than Seager is accustomed to at home and tonight there is a slight wind blowing from left-to-right which is great for a left-handed pull hitter. We’ll get a guaranteed nine innings of at-bats and Seager is on fire which makes the juice worth the squeeze.

MLB Player Props Today for Friday: Jo Adell, Angels OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-118)

We cashed in on this play with Jo Adell yesterday as he’s riding the second-longest current hitting streak in MLB at 13 games, and he’s logged at least two total bases in six of his last seven games. More importantly, Adell has covered this Runs + Hits + RBI line in seven-straight games and 12 of his last 14 games.

Adell hasn’t faced Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Eric Lauer, but he’s covered this prop line in eight of his last nine games and 71-percent of his games on the season against left-handed starters.

Lauer is a reliever turned starter who isn’t’ projected to pitch much past the fifth inning and the Blue Jays bullpen ranks 20th in ERA (4.47) and 25th in WHIP (1.46) during the last 30 days. Toronto is also coming off a high-scoring four-game set against the New York Yankees and their bullpen is gassed with five different relivers throwing in two of the last three days.

The weather is perfect for the Blue Jays to crack the roof at the Rogers Centre tonight and the ball flies out of the yard with the open dome. Look for Adell to keep rolling tonight in Toronto.
