MLB Player Props Today for Monday: Freddie Freeman, Dodgers OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-115)

Freddie Freeman is coming off a horrible weekend series in St Louis against the Cardinals, but we absolutely have to back him at this price considering the fact that he’s gone 12-36 (.333) against San Diego Padres starter Nick Pivetta with a home run and three doubles.

Pivetta has been pitching above his head all season, but he came crashing back down-to-earth last week as he allowed 5 earned runs on 6 hits across 6 innings of work against the San Francisco Giants.

The Padres bullpen is elite in terms of rankings on the season, but they rank 21st in both ERA & WHIP since May 1st and the underlying metrics are even worse as they ranked 26th in xFIP.

Freeman has also thrived at Petco Park where he owns a .277 batting average to go along with 9 home runs across 173 at-bats.

These teams have been battling for the top spot in the NL West during the past few seasons and players from both sides seem locked in when they go head-to-head. Freeman is no different and I fully expect him to get back on track against some vulnerable pitching. 

MLB Player Props Today for Monday: Randy Arozarena, Mariners OVER 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105)

Randy Arozarena caught fire over the weekend, going 6-10 with two doubles and an RBI during his last two games against the Los Angeles Angels.

Arozarena has a small sample size against Arizona Diamondbacks starting pitcher Merrill Kelly, but he has gone 2-3 against him with a home run.

Kelly is coming off a start where he held the Atlanta Braves scoreless through seven innings, but he did allow a combined 10 runs (8 ER) on 12 hits in his prior two outings.

When Kelly leaves the game, Arozarena will get cracks at a bullpen that rank 26th in both ERA & WHIP on the season and 28th & 29th since May 1st.

Arozarena has been a road warrior, clearing this HRR in 53% of his games compared to only 38% of his games at T-Mobile Park.

Chase Field is always a great hitting environment and “El Jefe” will be guaranteed a full nine innings of at-bats.
