Fierceness Running Style – Will It Fit the Kentucky Derby?
In Florida Derby he went wire to wire and never broke a sweat was left alone on the lead and went a modest 1st Q and half at that point the race was over.
Fierceness and Sierra Leone are the two best horses but Fierceness has the advantage of being a horse that has gate speed and will on or just off the lead while Sierra Leone will be coming from way back

Fierceness is the Kentucky Derby Favorite
Fierceness will be the favorite in the KY Derby but here are a couple things that can get him beat.
You always have to worry about a front runner being able to get the 1 1/4 distance if left alone he won’t have a problem but if he gets into a speed duel early he could get run down by one of the closers
The other concern is in his 5 race career he has never won back to back.
After each Win he came back with a subpar effort. In horse racing we refer that as the Horse bounced off of a big effort.
I don’t think he bounces here because John Velazquez never moved his hands in the Florida Derby as he had rode him to victory
So, Should Fierceness Be on Your Kentucky Derby Betting Ticket in 2024?
Fierceness will be the Favorite and is a must use on your Ticket but he can get beat.
