College Basketball Player Props Best Bet #1: CJ Gunn, DePaul Over 14.5 Points (-105)

CJ Gunn and DePaul welcome in St. John’s as they look to avenge a 79-66 loss back on December 16. Gunn had 15 points in that game and we’ll take him to go over 14.5 points with the Blue Demons heading in as double-digit underdogs.

Gunn has averaged 17.8 points per game across his last five games which includes shooting 40% from three-point range.

During conference play St. John’s has allowed the highest three-point field goal percentage to opponents of any Big East team which Gunn should try and exploit tonight.

It’s also worth noting that Gunn is more efficient at home averaging 15.1 points per game compared to road games averaging 13.4 points per game.

With St. John’s ranking top 60 nationally in pace DePaul should get some added possessions tonight with Gunn playing 32.6 minutes per game across his last five.

This is a must-win for DePaul if they hope to make it back on the bubble for the NCAA Tournament so take Gunn to score over 14.5 points tonight against the Red Storm.

College Basketball Player Props Best Bet #2: B.J. Edwards, SMU Over 19.5 Points + Rebounds (-120)

SMU looks to bounce back at home tonight taking on NC State after losing on Saturday to Louisville 88-74.

B.J. Edwards had 21 points + rebounds in that game and we’ll look for him to go over 19.5 points + rebounds tonight.

Edwards has been turning it up as of late averaging 25 points + rebounds across his last four games while shooting 54% from the field.

Edwards all around has been a force for the Mustangs racking up two triple doubles already this season with one of them involving 10 steals!

Among 18 ACC teams NC State ranks 13 during conference play in offensive rebounding percentage and 12th in three-point percentage allowed with Edwards draining three three-point shots in three of his last four games.

It’s also worth noting that Edwards is a much more efficient shooter at home shooting 51% compared to road games shooting 43%.

With Edwards playing over 34 minutes and averaging 20.1 points + rebounds per game this season, let’s look for him to be active in SMU’s attempt to bounce back at home against the Wolfpack going over 19.5 points + rebounds.
