The White Sox third baseman has been on an absolute tear as of late batting .318 and slugging .955 over the last week including four home runs.

Against lefties like Imanaga this season Vargas is batting .261 and slugging .558 compared to righties batting .229 and slugging .462. When the first time these two met up in May, Vargas had himself a solid series going 4-12 with two home runs with Imanaga allowing six home runs combined across his last three starts (16.1 IP).

The White Sox are coming off a sweep of the Tigers in Detroit in which Vargas was a huge part of so let’s take him to keep the momentum going into Wrigley Field tonight taking him to hit a home run at +330 odds.

Other White Sox batters to consider for a home run prop includes Munetaka Murakami (+330) and Colson Montgomery (+370).

MLB Home Run Prop Best Bet of the Day #2: Max Muncy (LAD) +250

After losing three of four games at home to the Brewers the Dodgers will try to get back on track tonight on the road playing the Rockies. Colorado has been atrocious this season as they’ll send Tomoyuki Sugano to the mound sporting a 12-5 record.

Problem is he’s given up 24 home runs in total this season with 17 of them coming against lefties as we’ll take Max Muncy to hit his home run prop tonight.

In general Sugano allows a .584 slugging percentage to lefties compared to a .443 slugging percentage to righties and has given up three home runs combined in his last two starts.

On the season Muncy has been a slightly better hitter on the road batting .263 to go along with a .515 slugging percentage compared to a .235 average and .469 slugging percentage at home.

Against Sugano all-time Muncy is 2-4 with a home run and against the Rockies this season he’s batting .406 to go along with a .844 slugging percentage including four home runs.
