Tottenham’s Current Form

The plot thickens for Spurs, as the sides immediately behind them in the Prem (Nottingham Forest and West Ham) each picked up somewhat unexpected points on Wednesday, both now breathing down Tottenham’s neck and just one point behind in the race to escape the drop zone.

Safe to say no more wiggle room for Spurs, who are still looking for their first EPL win of calendar 2026 (ten winless in the EPL matches a team mark for futility set in the 1993-94 campaign!) as new gaffer Igor Tudor desperately seeks any combinations that might work, including switching from his usually-preferred 3-4-2-1 setup to a flat-back four last weekend at Fulham, but no real improvement.

Spurs were fortunate to only be down 2-0 thanks to some heroic work in goal from Gugliemo Vicario before Richarlison gave Tottenham a look at the match with his goal midway thru the second half, but that’s as close as Spurs could get.

Absences continue to be an issue, with captain Cristian Romero still suspended and multiple key cogs like Destiny Udogie, Lucas Bergvall, Mohammed Kudus, James Maddison and Dejan Kulusevski remaining sidelined.

Crystal Palace’s Current Form

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace makes the short trek from South London after dealing with some of its own issues lately, most notably Oliver Glasner stating that he won’t return behind the bench next season.

But the biggest plus for Palace on Thursday might be that it’s not off of a UEFA Conference League midweek match, which had proven an issue earlier in the campaign (though not two weeks ago vs. Wolves).

Transfer window add Jørgen Strand Larsen, via Wolves, has looked menacing on the frontline, though scoring has been limited to a brace vs. Burnley three weeks ago.

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction

As Spurs don’t win these days, we’d have to consider backing Palace at either +200 or so on the three-way, perhaps +110 on a Draw No Bet, or even the Asian Line +0.25 goals at -120, but this also might be the time to pull the trigger on a Draw recommendation, totally believable in this matchup and priced very temptingly at +240 or thereabouts.

As for goalscorers on a supplemental punt, we might look at Dominic Solanke at +160/165 on the Spurs side, or perhaps the aforementioned Strand Larsen at +185/190 for Palace. For a real flyer on a small play, a 2-2 correct score returns +1200.
