Baltimore weather is warm and moderately run-positive, with game-window temperatures around the upper 70s to low 80s and thunderstorm risk in the area. That adds a scoring bump, but only a moderate one because rain/storm risk can suppress carry if humidity and delays affect timing.

CHC has the stronger recent team trend, winning seven of nine entering this matchup, including a 5-2 road win over BAL in the series opener. The Cubs’ current lineup has produced well recently, while BAL’s offense is still dangerous but less consistent.

The starter matchup leans BAL by surface run prevention, but not by enough to justify the moneyline price.
