TEXAS TECH OVER 54.5 vs OKLAHOMA STATE

The first thing that jumped out at me when I looked at the board was this total: 56.5. In Lubbock? Are you kidding me? That number looks completely out of place, like seeing a Prius at a monster truck rally.

I had to double-check the numbers because it felt so wrong. And guess what? It is. In Texas Tech's last 24 home games, the average final score has produced 70 points per game! Seventy! And the average total for those games was almost 62. There's only been one game with a lower total than this one in that entire stretch, and that game stillflew over the number!

Big 12 home favorites laying big numbers like Texas Tech? The Over is hitting at a 70.6% clip since 2016! That's a 24-and-10 record.

Oklahoma State's offense is terrible But even they are still managing to put up almost 19 points per game in conference play. They will contribute something.

You have a Texas Tech offense are going to absolutely light up this Oklahoma State defense. The math suggests Texas Tech could hit 60 points by themselves!

Let's talk about this Boston College team. This team isn't just bad; they are getting progressively worse. They're on a five-game losing streak against the spread. They are 20 points worse than an average team over their last three games. They switched quarterbacks, and it didn't matter – the offense is still broken, averaging just 8.5 points per game against the two decent defenses they've faced.

And now that dumpster fire has to go on the road and face a Louisville defense that is legitimately nasty. This unit is allowing just 4.6 yards per play against real competition. Boston College is going to find it impossible to move the ball.

Louisville is riding high off their Miami win and will look to keep it rolling against a BC team that will not be able to answer them at all. It's a big blowout this weekend. I'll lay it with Louisville.
