We only list Roupp in this one as it looks like Bergert will get a spot start. Those things tend to change and sometimes someone else starts last minute. However for us this is all about the situation and the SF pitching. The situation is that the Giants were shutout last night in their first game back from a 9 game road trip. We love playing teams off a shutout but more importantly teams that lose that first game off a long road trip. They tend to bounce back in a big way in that second game. We expect that from SF tonight. They do send Landen Roupp to the hill and he has had a great May. He is sporting a 1.73 ERA in 5 May starts. He also has some revenge over SD for a start in April when he allowed 4 runs. We like Landen to keep SD at bay especially at home and then have the best BP in MLB take over with a lead. So lets get the job done with the SF Giants as your free play for today in MLB

THE PLAY: Aaron Ekblad (-120) OVER 1 1 /2 SOG

We stayed away from Aaron in the Carolina series as he historically struggled against the Hurricanes offensively. We will back him here at this price until we don't throughout this series. The thought process for Florida will be to fire as many shots at G Skinner as possible and Aaron is a guy who loves to do just that. In both games this year against Edmonton he went OVER this number. He is on the Number 1 PP and he loves to join the rush. That is something that the Florida defense will have to do if they want to have any chance of beating this very good Oilers team. So lets get the job done with Aaron Ekblad over 1 1 /2 SOG as your free play for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final.
