Best Home Run Prop Bets – MLB Free HR Props Picks
Ivan Herrera (STL) +500
Zack Littell heads into today’s start at St. Louis having given up the most home runs of any pitcher in the MLB this season.
Of his 34 home runs given up, 20 of them have come on the road as we’ll look at Cardinals DH Ivan Herrera to hit his 17th home run of the season tonight.
Herrera had a home run off Littlell during his August 29th start in Cincinnati and overall Herrera has been hot as of late batting .283 while slugging .652 across the last 15 days.
Although Littell didn’t allow a home run in his last start at San Diego, he gave up six combined in his two starts before that and has allowed 20 of 34 home runs to right handed hitters.
Nine of Herrera’s 17 home runs have come at home with nine of 17 coming against right handed hitters as well.
Take Herrera to stay hot and hit his home run prop tonight with odds listed at +500. Other Cardinals batters to consider for home run prop picks includes Wilson Contreras and Alec Burleson (+450).
MLB HR Props Best Bet of the Day #2: Joc Pederson (TEX) +330
Righty Jason Alexander takes the mound for the Astros who has had his struggles with left handed hitters this season.
Without Corey Seager in the lineup we’re going to target Joc Pederson to hit his ninth home run of the season tonight.
Sure, Pederson’s best years are behind him, but over the last 30 days he’s batting .246 and slugging .464 which is great compared to his season average of .177 and slugging percentage of .329.
Alexander posts a 5.40 home ERA while allowing seven of his 11 home runs in 30 innings pitched compared to a road ERA of 3.19 while allowing four home runs in 36.2 innings pitched.
He has allowed a .507 slugging percentage to lefties compared to a .353 slugging percentage to righties and although he allowed no runs in seven innings at Toronto last time out, he allowed four combined home runs in his two previous starts, both at home.
Take Pederson to hit his home run prop tonight at odds listed at +330 with other Rangers to look at for a home run prop includes Jake Burger (+390) and Adolis Garcia (+400).
