NFL Most Receiving Yards Past Winners

2024: Ja’Marr Chase 1,708 yards

2023: Tyreek Hill Miami 1,799 yards

2022: Justin Jefferson Minnesota 1,809 yards

2021: Cooper Kupp LA Rams 1,947 yards

2020: Stefon Diggs Buffalo 1,535 yards

2019: Michael Thomas New Orleans 1,725 yards

2025 NFL Most Receiving Yards Prediction: Ja’Marr Chase (+600)

Last season we cashed in on Ja’Marr Chase at +900 as he led the NFL with career highs in receiving yards (1,708), receiving touchdowns (17), receptions (127) and targets (175).

The early season contract disharmony hurt his performance in the first two weeks of the season, in which he amassed only 97 receiving yards and no touchdowns.

Since he entered the league in 2021, Chase ranks top 10 in yards per route (2.23) and 2nd in yards after the catch per reception (6.1) which illustrates his elite efficiency and game-breaking talent.

The Cincinnati Bengals will again be a high-octane offense with Joe Burrow leading the way and Chase & Tee Higgins both being re-signed for the long term.

Burrow was also dealing with a nagging wrist injury, and he’s publicly stated that the injury is in the past. I strongly considered Nico Collins (2nd best odds), he’s elite against man coverage and doesn’t have much in the way of target competition but that knife can cut both ways as opposing defense can also key in on him.

No player has led the NFL in this category in back-to-back seasons since Calvin Johnson (2011 & 2012), but I still like Chase to repeat in 2025.

2025 NFL Most Receiving Yards Sleeper Prediction: Brock Bowers, Raiders (+4000)

My first thought was Malik Nabers, but he’s tied for the 5th best odds (+1100) and that doesn’t really qualify as true longshot.

No tight end has ever led the NFL in receiving as the closest ever was Rob Gronkowski in the 2011 campaign where he finished 3rd with 1,327 yards behind only Calvin Johnson (1,681) and his teammate Wes Welker (1,569).

However, Brock Bowers isn’t your average tight end as he’s coming off an incredible rookie season where he caught 112 of 153 targets for 1,194 receiving yards (tied 8th most) and five touchdowns.

He actually fell just five receptions shy of breaking Zach Ertz all-time record for tight end receptions (116 in 2018).

Bowers managed to produce those numbers with Gardner Minshew & Aidan O’Connell at quarterback and now Geno Smith will be the starting QB. Smith is known for targeting his tight ends more than the average QB and he’s thrown for 3,600+ passing yards in three straight seasons with 4,000+ yards in two of those seasons.

Smith should thrive in a familiar offense under his former head coach Pete Carroll and the offense should improve with Chip Kelly taking over the role of offensive coordinator.

The Raiders play in a competitive division where they will have to throw to keep up against teams like the Chiefs, Chargers and Broncos.

Everything will need to go perfectly for us to cash this 40-1 ticket, but Bowers will clearly have opportunities as he’s tied for the 3rd best odds to lead the NFL in receptions.
