Justin Jefferson led the way last season with 1,809 receiving yards but can he have the most receiving yards in back-to-back seasons? See what Andy thinks!

2023 NFL Wide Receivers Odds to Have Most NFL Receiving Yards
Justin Jefferson +650
Ja’Marr Chase +700
Tyreek Hill +900
Cooper Kupp +1200

CeeDee Lamb +2200
Garrett Wilson +2200

Most Receiving Yards Player Prop Sleeper Prediction

Obviously, talent and ability need to be factored in when making predictions for any player futures entering the season.

However, I would argue that systems, personnel and opportunity trump all as we are talking about the top 20 or so players on the face of the planet at any given position.

Garrett Wilson looks like he will have tremendous improvement in those spots with Aaron Rodgers joining the New York Jets during the off-season. Wilson is coming off a tremendous rookie campaign where he caught 83 of 147 targets for 1,103 yards.

He posted these numbers despite never having a consistent quarterback as he caught passes from Joe Flacco, Zach Wilson and Mike White. Regardless of his age, Rodgers is an upgrade over any one of those three quarterbacks.

More importantly, Wilson is the clear cut #1 option in New York. Allen Lazard & Randall Cobb will serve as great Rodger’s safety blankets and Mecole Hardman will stretch the field but nobody will get anywhere near the target share of Wilson.

Wilson just snuck into the top ten based on odds and I would argue that there are multiple players with less favorable odds in worse situations.

Receiving Yards Prop Sleeper Prediction: Garrett Wilson +2200

Most Receiving Yards Player Prop Bust Prediction

We mentioned how important the surrounding personnel is to a player leading the league in any individual category.

The potential lack of a trusted starting quarterback in Las Vegas has me looking towards Aaron Rodgers former favorite target Davante Adams for my bust selection. The Raiders signed Jimmy Garoppola to a three-year deal to replace Derek Carr in March.

However, he underwent surgery on his injured left foot directly thereafter and hasn’t been able to join his team on the field for voluntary OTA’s as he continues to rehab. Next in line is Brian Hoyer, who is a fine back-up but I can’t see Adams being #1 with him at the helm.

The Raiders have a bell cow running back in Josh Jacobs they can lean on and they also added former Patriots wideout Jakobi Meyers and tight end Austin Hopper to the fold.

Adams has all the talent necessary to be the league’s leading receiver, but the question marks at the quarterback position are more than enough for concern.

Receiving Yards Prop Bust Prediction: Davante Adams +1800

Most Receiving Yards Player Prop Best Prediction

We cashed this future play last season as we rolled with the favorite in Justin Jefferson. We highlighted Kevin O’Connell’s gun-slinging system and his familiarity with quarterback Kirk Cousins.

Both are still in place and there is no reason why Jefferson can’t accomplish one his goals of being the first 2,000-yard receiver in history. He led the NFL in targets last season and his yardage total has increased by about 200 yards in each of his first three seasons.

The offense already flowed through Jefferson as he was basically force feed the ball. With Adam Thielen gone, he will be the hands down top dog in Minnesota once again.

Receiving Yards Player Prop Best Prediction: Justin Jefferson +650
