Utah Jazz vs Milwaukee Bucks Analysis
The Milwaukee Bucks head out to Utah for an interconference matchup with the Jazz. The Jazz are playing the second game of a four-game homestand after beating the Sacramento Kings 134-125 on Saturday night. Meanwhile the Bucks are playing the second game of a four game road trip after losing 122-109 against the Warriors on Saturday night.
Utah won the first head-to-head meeting in Milwaukee 107-95. However that was way back in October and the Bucks were playing without Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton.
Utah Jazz vs Milwaukee Bucks Team Totals
This game is a virtual pick’em and a total of 232.5, so both teams come into this game with a team total of 116.5 points. Both these teams rely on their offense and can go on poor defensive runs. Rudy Gobert is a question mark for this one and that could open up things even more offensively.
The Bucks have a major weakness on the perimeter that was further exposed last game where the Golden State Warriors went 18-for-45 from beyond the arc. The Bucks allow the most three-pointers and most three-point attempts in the entire league. This presents a major mismatch as the Jazz love to hoist up three-pointers.
The Jazz are second in the league in three-point attempts and seventh in three-point percentage. The Warriors laid the blueprint and Jazz are going to fire and score at will.
Recommendation: Utah Jazz Team Total Over 116.5 Points
Utah Jazz vs Milwaukee Bucks Player Props
With Rudy Gobert being questionable its going to be tough to gauge how things will shake out in the paint. We obviously found a weak spot on the Bucks defense on the perimeter, however we will save that for the same game parlay.
I also identified a strength in the Jazz defense as they allow the least assists per game to opposing point guards. Jrue Holiday assist number opened at 6.5, a total he has achieved only once in six career head-to-head games with Utah.
Very few points guards have gotten to 6 or 7 assists against the Jazz and all have higher usage rates than Holiday. The Holiday assist total has went down to 5.5 at +120, instead of 6.5 with juice. The Bucks offense can run through Giannis Antetokounmpo and even Khris Middleton at points, so let’s take a plus-money shot on the assist under for Holiday.
Recommendation: Jrue Holiday Under 5.5 Assists (+120)
Utah Jazz vs Milwaukee Bucks Same-Game Parlay

- Donovan Mitchell 3+ Three-pointers
- Royce O’Neale 1+ Three-pointers

As usual, we will start with our best player prop and take Holiday under 7.5, a total I’m more than comfortable with.
Next we will attack that mismatch between Jazz three-point shooters and the Bucks lack of perimeter defense. Unfortunately there aren’t any prop numbers for Jordan Clarkson.
We will ride with Royce O’Neale to hit one three pointer and Donovan Mitchell to hit three. Mitchell has hit three or more in 11 of his last 13 games and should be looking to put his team on his back. O’Neale has hit a three-pointer in 19-straight games. Enough said. Wrap up all three for a confident play at +120 odds.
