NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Jayson Tatum (BOS) Over 31.5 Points + Rebounds (-110)

We’re set for a crucial Eastern Conference clash tonight as the Celtics head to Miami to take on a Heat team that has los two of their past three games.

We’re going to look at Jayson Tatum going over 31.5 points + assists as he got the night off in the Celtics game at Atlanta which ended in a 112-102 loss.

Although Tatum specifically hasn’t seen the Heat this season Miami has allowed the sixth most points and fifth most rebounds per game to power forwards this season so far.

In Tatum’s last four games he has averaged 33.2 points + rebounds per game and although Miami sits 10th in defensive rating this season, they sit just 21st in that metric over their last 10 games.

It’s also worth noting that the Celtics are dead last in pace in their last 10 games but the Heat have run at the fastest pace over that span so there will be additional possessions across the board that should lead to additional scoring and rebounding opportunities for Tatum.

With the Celtics going 9-2 straight up in games Tatum plays this season, let’s look for him to be a difference maker tonight going 31.5 points + rebounds on Wednesday night.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Reed Sheppard (HOU) Over 14.5 Points (-112)

The Rockets are on a roll winning three-straight by double digits as they welcome a lowly Bucks team into Houston on Wednesday night.

Reed Sheppard specifically has been up and down as of late, but he’s shown enough to us that we trust him going over 14.5 points tonight.

He has averaged 15 points per game in March so far and in the first head-to-head meeting way back on November 9th Sheppard had 16 points on 6-10 shooting and 4-6 from three-point range.

The Bucks have allowed the eighth most points per game to shooting guards per game, but what’s more important is that they’ve allowed the second most three-point makes to the position per game.

Reed has shot 42% from three-point range in home games this season and his 8.6 three-point attempts per game in March are the most of any single month this season.

He just scored 20 points on 8-12 shooting in last night’s 111-94 win over the Rockets so let’s take Sheppard to be a scoring threat off the bench once again for the Rockets going over 14.5 points at home against a Bucks team that can’t wait for the season to end.
