NBA Player Props Best Bet #1: Brook Lopez (LAC) Under 10.5 Points (-135)

With Ivica Zubac out of LA Brook Lopez has seen his minutes increase by roughly 9-10 minutes per game and although he’s had some productive outings since, that won’t be the case tonight.

We’re going to take him to score under 10.5 points tonight as the Clippers travel to Houston to take on a tough Rockets defense.

Houston sits fifth in defensive efficiency on the season and has allowed the least points per game to centers across the last seven days.

Since Zubac was traded Lopez is averaging 9.2 points per game with Kawhi Leonard and John Collins taking on a majority of the scoring workload in the starting lineup.

The Rockets have allowed the fifth least amount of points in the paint across the last five games and while we know Lopez sometimes does leak out to the three-point line for a few attempts, the Rockets have allowed the seventh fewest three-point makes to centers in the last 15 days and the fewest in the last week.

The Rockets and Clippers both sit bottom three in pace so possessions will be at a minimum tonight for both teams.

In the two head-to-head meetings between these two this season Lopez has averaged just 2.5 points in 20.5 minutes per game so let’s take the veteran to be held under 10.5 points tonight in Houston against the Rockets.

NBA Player Props Best Bet #2: Dylan Harper (SA) Over 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-125)

The Spurs look to make it five straight wins tonight traveling to LA to take on a Lakers team that has won three of their past four games.

Although LA has been solid as of late, they’ve been vulnerable to opposing point guards allowing the third most points, eighth most rebounds and third most assists per game over the last 15 games.

With that we’ll take rookie Dylan Harper to go over 16.5 points + rebounds + assists averaging 21.6 points + rebounds + assists over his last five games.

He’s shooting it at 60% over the last five games as well while attempting ten shots per game as his minutes continue to increase as the season progresses, now at 23 per game through three February games.

The Lakers allow the fifth most assists per game overall this season with the Spurs sitting top five in assist ratio across their last five games and fourth in rebounding percentage.

Although the Lakers as a team have been playing better defense since Luka Doncic they rank just 15th in bench defensive rating across their last five games and sit bottom 10 in defensive efficiency overall for the season.

Look for Harper to be a force off the bench for San Antonio tonight going over 16.5 points + rebounds + assists.
