NBA Player Prop for Thursday, October 30
Isaiah Hartenstein (OKC) Over 11.5 Rebounds vs Washington
Isaiah Hartenstein has racked up 12+ rebounds in three of his last four games as the Thunder battle some early-season injuries. Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren and Thomas Sorber are out for Oklahoma City, which means Hartenstein will be the interior focus with a small-ball lineup around him.
The Wizards have given up the third-most rebounds to opposing centers thus far. In two meetings with Washington last year, Hartenstein grabbed 11 and 12 rebounds, but should have more opportunities tonight. Washington is running at the second-fastest pace so far this season, but the Wizards have some of the worst offensive efficiency metrics and will miss plenty of shots.
Washington has posted the second-worst rebounding rate so far and the Wizards have given up the third-most rebounds overall.
NBA Betting Trends for Thursday, October 30
#501 Orlando Magic at #502 Charlotte Hornets
Orlando won-and-covered all four games last season, winning those contests by an average of 14.8 points per game. Over the last three seasons, the Magic have gone 5-1 against the spread in Charlotte with four of those wins coming by double-digits. Orlando is on the second leg of a back-to-back after losing in Detroit on Wednesday. The Magic are on a four-game losing streak and still have not covered a point spread yet this season. Charlotte returns home after a three-game road trip to Philadelphia, Washington and Miami.
#503 Golden State Warriors at #504 Milwaukee Bucks
Golden State has covered the number in five-straight meetings, including a pair of double-digit wins last season. The Warriors are 4-1 straight-up and against the spread so far this season with the lone loss coming at Portland last week.
#505 Washington Wizards at #506 Oklahoma City Thunder
Over the last three seasons, Oklahoma City has gone 6-0 straight-up, 5-1 against the spread in this cross-conference matchup with all six of those games going over the total. Last year, the Thunder covered the spread as a 17.5 and 15.5-point favorite. Both teams are on equal rest after playing on Tuesday. Three of the Wizards’ first four games have gone over the total. The Thunder are still unbeaten this season, but they are just 1-4 against the spread. This will be Oklahoma City’s first game as a double-digit favorite this season. Last year, the Thunder went 22-10-1 ATS in that role.
#507 Miami Heat at #508 San Antonio Spurs
Miami has won each of the last five meetings, but San Antonio did stay within the number as a home ‘dog in the final meeting last year. Victor Wembanyama did not play in that contest, so the Spurs will look a little different than the version the Heat saw last year.
